I'm enjoying this very much. Fascinated by the tech and the triumvirate of the mad scientists and the way you interspersed those out-of-time sequences. And I love the reports with Jackson and O'Neill especially.
The way Sheppard is evolving is painfully wonderful as well.
I was disheartened, though, that Sheppard was essentially lied to by his close friends for years but you didn't give him the capacity to *feel* that betrayal when the truth came out. That's. Well, the thing is, as the reader, I felt it, reading it--how Rodney especially treated Sheppard as a *thing* for a long time. So obviously I wanted Sheppard to feel it and react. I was expecting it to be his wake up. After all, why feel anger toward the Replicators of all things but not toward someone that lied to him and affected/interacted with his programming directly, daily for years?
Sorry. Anyway, the above is only a quibble, really. This is an awesome universe you have constructed. I am charging onward!
